Steven Mangas
Founder, Urban Boise
Real Estate Advisor
Steven Mangas is a third-generation REALTORĀ® and the founder of Urban Boise. He began his real estate career in the Washington, D.C. region in 2015 with TTR Sotheby's International Realty, working across Washington, D.C., Maryland, and Virginia before relocating to Boise in 2021.
His background spans residential sales, real estate marketing, and the development of specialized real estate platforms. Before returning his focus fully to client representation, Steven spent three years leading marketing for Group One Sotheby's International Realty. He also co-founded listModern, a platform focused on architect-designed and modern homes, developing experience in building specialized market knowledge and positioning properties for design-literate audiences.
Today, Steven advises buyers and sellers across the Boise market while maintaining a particular focus on condos, close-in housing, and the properties and neighborhoods connected to city living. He founded Urban Boise to bring greater depth and continuity to that part of the market, combining ongoing research with the experience and perspective of advisors who work within it.
I've always been drawn to places where you can step outside and have choices. A restaurant, a bar, somewhere to meet someone, or something you hadn't planned on doing at all. Living and working in Adams Morgan in Washington, D.C., gave me a strong sense of that lifestyle, along with an understanding of the properties and real estate that support it.
After moving to Boise, I began noticing how often knowledge about individual condo buildings started over with each client or transaction. Information was scattered among agents who had worked in a particular building, even as buyers compared several properties and tried to understand an unfamiliar part of the market.
As Boise grows and the ways people choose to live close to the city continue to expand, I saw an opportunity to build that knowledge instead of rebuilding it repeatedly. Urban Boise grew from that idea, but also from something I genuinely enjoy: creating structure, building knowledge, and creating something that becomes more useful over time.
